Kyiv. 19 April. — Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, has been named Best Banker 2009 within the framework of the annual Financial Rating of the Business weekly. The reputable rating, made for the 12th time consecutive this year, has also awarded Raiffeisen Bank Aval as the second largest professional bank in Ukraine. “I think, all the employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval’s multi-thousand team have become best bankers 2009”, stated Volodymyr Lavrenchuk. “I am happy that in the time of a gradual renovation of Ukraine’s banking system after the global financial crisis, our Bank is again among the leaders of the Ukrainian banking sector”, added the banker. Winners of the Financial Rating of the Business weekly are usually determined on the basis of opinion polling among financiers. The rating’s unbiased approach might be confirmed by the fact that Volodymyr Lavrenchuk’s work on the post of Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval has recently been recognized with another two awards. Within the framework of the regular TOP-100 Rating of the Ekonomika publishing house, V.
